Have you ever read something about regional lawyers and thought to yourself “yes, well that’s a point, but there’s so much more to it” or “what about the challenges we face when it comes to x, y, and z” or maybe even a straight-out “no, that’s incorrect“. .
Well, if you have a few minutes, we encourage you to share your own experience as a regional lawyer.
Dr Francesca Bartlett of the University of Queensland and Dr Caroline Hunt of the University of Southern Queensland are talking with regional lawyers to understand more about us. In addition to talking to practitioners directly, they also have made available an online survey for participants to complete. To ensure that the research truly reflects the life of regional lawyers, we encourage you to take part in the survey. You can access it here.
In addition to the obvious benefits, think about the current oversupply of law graduates, your plans for the succession of your business, advertising regional law as a possible future for great graduates and young lawyers. There are unquantifiable benefits to this research being available and being accurate to the real life of a regional lawyer.
If you’re interested in speaking with the researchers, they would be pleased to hear from you. You can reach them on 07 3346 7526. Alternatively, feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to connect you.
