On Wednesday, 15 September 2021 the Logan and Scenic Rim Law Association Inc (LSRLA) hosted their second Wednesday Wellness Breakfast. Created in 2021 by the committee as an event for members as a mid-week mingle, this breakfast was no different and filled with great company, food and laughs.
Here at the LSRLA, we strongly support health and wellness within the legal community. The Wellness Wednesday Breakfast gives local professionals the opportunity to connect with others and take a breather from the hustle and bustle of everyday working life. A debrief over a coffee helps keep us going during these busy and trying times.
There was a fantastic turnout of wonderful legal professionals from the local community for the event. Everyone was in high spirits and the breakfast table was packed with interesting and thought-provoking conversation.
We were grateful and honoured to have Beenleigh District Court judge, the Honourable Justice Craig Chowdhury, in attendance at the Wellness Wednesday Breakfast. Justice Chowdhury kindly offered his insight into practicing law within our local district, and we learnt about the vast geography covered by the district!
There was something for everyone at the Wellness Wednesday Breakfast. We even had our own custom-decorated cookies with our logo on them!
